Pauza started with a simple observation: every screen time app punishes you. Blockers, limits, walls — they all treat you like the problem. And most people delete them within weeks, because being punished feels worse than scrolling.
We built the opposite. In Pauza, every minute you spend off social media becomes something: tokens, a streak that freezes instead of breaking, and — the part we're proudest of — a friendly bet with a friend where the lowest screen time wins the pot. No cash, no gambling; just something real at stake between two people who both want to scroll less.
Pauza is made by A24Z LTD, a company registered in London, United Kingdom. The app is built on Apple's Screen Time APIs (iOS 26+), and it's private by design: your per-app usage and your list of blocked apps never leave your device — friends only ever see an anonymous daily minute total.

Full transparency, because it matters for trust:
